We offer brunch each Sunday from 10-2, May 26 through October 6. The current menu will be posted here each Monday for the coming weekend.

The cuisine at Circumstance reflects the pursuit of craft, creativity, and an appreciation of place. We presume a standard of 100% locally sourced and organically grown ingredients and rely on whole-animal butchery, charcuterie, foraged ingredients, fermentation, smoking, and other forms of food preservation to accent our menu, along with careful combinations of ingredients in their original state.

Our brunch menu is designed to highlight these various crafts, with an emphasis on seafood, oysters, and charcuterie. We focus less on listing a huge number of dishes and more on offering you a delicious spread with lots of different, densely flavorful components that you can combine as you like, along with a selection of local oysters, and an appropriately festive natural wine, cider, fresh juice, or mocktail. Our brunch is best for folks who enjoy sharing a table of food over conversation and don't mind eating with their hands and/or building their own bites. It's a small, casual celebration at the end of the weekend and we are delighted to welcome you to our barn in the woods for a unique taste of the moment. 

Since we are a small restaurant with limited seating and parking, we do require reservations for all guests. Brunch reservations can be made online, in advance or day-of. 

For brunch, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs except vegan diets and shellfish allergies. There will be space to include dietary preferences or allergies when you make your reservation.
