As we go about our work, we often notice certain lines of interest or themes we’re particularly passionate about that we want to explore further and/or share with others. These often turn into events like those below. Pricing for each event is listed with each description and can be paid in-person.

Fri 6/13 @ 5:30 : “Volcano Juice” Pairing Dinner - Volcanic soils consistently produce some of the most compelling, delicious wines on our list. Join us for a special pairing dinner exploring what makes volcanic wines unique, featuring 6 organic/biodynamic wines from Mt Etna and other volcanic locales. Our chef/curator Khris Hogg will speak to our impressions of volcanic terroir in general, and introduce each pairing. $100/pp
Fri 7/11 @ 6:00 : “Orange Summer” Pairing Dinner - Skin-contact white wines, aka “orange wines” have gotten pretty hip, but the tradition of skin-contact white wines is one of the oldest we know about. They also capture the warmth, color, and feeling of peak summer perfectly. Come taste what all the fuss is about! $100/pp
Sat 8/16 @ Noon: Lambrusco Lunch - Forget what you’ve heard: Lambrusco is delicious! This local wine from the Emilia-Romagna of Italy has a fascinating history and presents a combination of fruit, bitters, fizz, and fun unlike any other style out there. Enjoy a 3 course lunch paired with 3 different Lambruscos, each working with traditional varieties, but fermented with modern, natural sensibilities. $55/pp
Sun 8/24 @ Noon: Cidermaking 101 w/ Cider Tasting - Get ready for the arrival of apple season with our chef, resident cidermaker, and apple nerd Khris Hogg (Perennial Cider, Out on a Limb Apple CSA), as we discuss the basics of home cidermaking. We’ll cover sourcing apples, varietal selection, working with wild apples, equipment, and technique, and taste examples of local ciders that demonstrate different choices you might make as you craft your own process. $30/pp, includes drinks.
Sat 9/27 : Whole Hog Butchery and Charcuterie Demonstration and Take-Home - Chef Khris Hogg will narrate the breakdown of a side of pork and discuss common uses for each cut while you enjoy a glass of wine and ask whatever questions you have. Come just for the demo or add on a collection of the finished charcuterie. $30/pp for demo; additional $75 for take-home charcuterie.

November : Thanksgiving by Circumstance: Want delicious, interesting, locally sourced sides for your big meal? Let us take care of it! We’ll be offering everything but the turkey to-go in multiple sizes, in any combination of your choosing. Order in advance and pickup at the restaurant.
